The After School All-Stars
The most fulfilling aspect of owning our ranch is the opportunity we get to host field trips for various Las Vegas elementary schools who participate in the After School All Stars program. A few tims a year 30 or more kids come to the ranch to watch us ride, eat Farrah's cooking, get to go for a horseback ride themselves and have their picture taken on the horse. We even have Paul and Debby Thompson bring their famous ice cream truck to give the kids a treat.
Many of the kids haven't had an opportunity to see these kinds of animals before and the faces show their excitement. I really don't know who enjoys it more...the kids or the gang at Terra Ranch. I do know everybody has a great time!
